Greg & Joyce Wingham

Joyce, a Kentucky native, moved to Cincinnati, Ohio as an adult and started her career at RCA. Being entrepreneurial, she and her husband owned several businesses, including a bakery and a mobile home park. Joyce worked in the hospitality industry for Holiday Inns for 15 years in sales and marketing. In that capacity, she concentrated on groups, the state association market and corporate sales as well as directing a sales department. She worked 5 years with The Beck Group directing a sales force, working the tour market, and performing feasibility studies in securing new hotels in various states. She spent 3 years at Kings Island Inn in charge of Sales and Marketing. In 1985, she decided to leave hotel sales and fulfill a dream of starting her own travel company. The dream became JOY TOUR & TRAVEL! She started by concentrating on customized motor coach tours. Later, she added a retail travel agency component. Joyce’s love and major concentration is sales and marketing. Joyce is very active in the company and remains CEO.

Greg, born and raised in the Greater Cincinnati area, worked in hospitality for a hotel chain as desk clerk and night auditor. He had a stint in the railroading industry. He earned his BS from The University of Cincinnati majoring in Accounting. He then went to work for a CPA firm in Cincinnati. Joyce recruited Greg to JOY TOUR & TRAVEL in 1990 as a Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer. Greg’s main areas of expertise are all financial aspects of the company, web site and technology. Greg is now President of the company.

In addition to custom group tours, services provided include group and individual cruises, European independent travel, family vacations, destination weddings, honeymoons and corporate incentive.

JOY is proud to have joined TAP as an equity partner in December 2006. Greg is pleased to have been elected VP of Products for TAP in 2009.
