Tour Description/Daily Itinerary:

Jamestown Settlement: A place of beginning for our nation
Colonial Williamsburg: Walk the same streets as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry.
 

DAY 1 
After arriving in the Williamsburg, VA area you will spend the remainder of the afternoon at Jamestown Settlement, a re-enactment English village and Indian village from 1607. See first hand what life was like for the some of the very first settlers to the new world, even before the Pilgrims. Dinner this evening at one of the local favorites. (D)

DAY 2
After breakfast, you are off to Colonial Williamsburg for a guided tour of the historic area. You will walk the same streets as Washington, Jefferson and Patrick Henry. You will continue this afternoon to explore this historic area and see how the folks lived and works in the 1700’s. There are a few shops to browse as well. Dinner at a local buffet and shopping outside the historic area will finish off you day. (B, D)

Larry Larsen, Owner and CEO of Ed-Ventures

A former mathematics and German teacher, Larry first traveled with his own students in 1974. In 1977 he helped found a European tour company and there was no turning back. Larry has a B.A. in German from Concordia in Moorhead, Minnesota, and a M.A. in German from Mankato State College. He has guided the growth of Ed-Ventures, reaching out to travelers from most of the 50 states who have traveled on 5 continents. Larry’s spare time activities include church and community leadership. Larry has been married to his wife, Joanne, for 48 years and has 5 children, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
