Bob Hoelscher, Flemming Tours and Cruises

Bob began his 39 years in the group travel industry with the AAA Auto Club of Missouri and continued with management positions at three other respected tour operators before purchasing flemming tours, inc., in early 1993.  Bob graduated from Washington University in 1970, earned designation as a Certified Travel Counselor in 1981, as a Certified Tour Professional in 1986, as a Master Cruise Counselor in 1996, and as a Certified Travel Industry Executive in 2005.  A serious classical music fan, Bob has attended almost 1,700 symphony concerts in cities across North America and Europe over the past 47 years, amassed a collection of over 7,500 classical recordings, and participated in patron organizations of the Saint Louis and National Symphony Orchestras and the Las Vegas Philharmonic.  He has traveled extensively through all 50 states and Canada, visited some 325 units of the (U.S.) National Park Service, made 30 trips to Europe, toured Mexico, the Caribbean, the Middle East, South America, Antarctica, the Orient...altogether over 80 countries on six continents...and sailed on 70 cruises aboard 62 different ships. In late 2002, Bob relocated to Cedar City, Utah, near Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, to enable him to better oversee the company’s specialization in receptive services for the Western U.S., including the Canyon Country, Rocky Mountains, Southwest, California and Pacific Northwest.
